Well firstly I sat out in the garden this morning watching the flowers blooming and the grass growing.Yes its no mow May and my jungle is looking awash with flowers and bugs. which is nice then i sat reflecting on the last two outings

Firstly, last week was an event in Coventry which had been postponed from before xmas and having written pieces for it maintained a festive spirit complete with musical Santa tie Then last Saturday I performed at the Stafford Lit Festival. The morning session reading from Now You’re The artist..Deal With it, the chapter explaining why a woman was standing on a toilet seat as seen on the front cover Then after a pint and cheese roll catch up with an old mate of mine , returned to read a five minute extract from Wilhemena and her wind in the children and light poetry readings in the library. Wanda a friend a fellow New Street Author read a great tale about a frog befriending a tortoise One annoying problem was the library closed at 4 pm and the staff were hovering around ushering authors children and parents out the emergency exit .So no book signing or selling or even talking to the youngsters afterwards. I drove home in a sassenfrasssen grrr Mutley wacky races mood and after arriving home and pouring a large rioja felt much better my books are all available from

LEE BENSON

Did I mention that Ive just been made a very proud Grandfather too.
