Yesterday I attended the funeral and celebration of a lovely man Robert Bowers There were so many people who knew him, the place was packed outside and in the chapel I met Rob in his very dusty studio back in 2000 when I had my gallery He was a unique character with a wicked sense of humour and a twinkle in his eyes

May he rest in peace and carve a piece of heaven. We were all better for knowing you and a very sad loss now you’ve left us down here. Far too young
